Colorado Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche is another professional ice hockey team. The team has founded in the year 1972 in Quebec and based in Denver, Colorado, United States. The Avalanche has won the Stanley Cup in 1996 and 2001 and is the first team in NHL history to win this cup after the relocation. The team has also won eight division titles. They are the member of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. The team is playing their home games at the Pepsi center.

The Owner of the team is Stan Kroenke, the General Manager of the team is Greg Sherman, the Head coach of the team is Joe Sacco and the captain of the team is Adam Foote. The colors of the team are burgundy, steel blue, black, silver and white. The alternate logo of the team is the foot of a yeti.

The latest of 2009-10 will be the 37th season of the franchise the 30th in the National Hockey League and 14th as the Colorado Avalanche.
